Very good early variety with medium-sized rounded heads of rock-like firmness.

Summer/autumn cutting - maturing time approximately 20-26 weeks from sowing.

Sow March-May in ¾" deep drills (shallow grooves) 15cm (6") apart on prepared seed beds outdoors.

Plant out June-July, 45cm (18") apart each way.

May also be sown in a cold frame in January for early crops. Plant Herb Garlic Chives amongst your cabbages as this has been shown to deter Carrot Root Fly.
