Tightly wrapped leaves with hard, pointed hearts.

Recommended for exhibition.

Summer/autumn cutting - maturing time approximately 20-26 weeks from sowing.This variety has been trialled, tested and recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany.

Sow March-May in ¾" deep drills (shallow grooves) 15cm (6") apart on prepared seed beds outdoors.

Plant out June-July, 45cm (18") apart each way. Plant Herb Garlic Chives amongst your cabbages as this has been shown to deter Carrot Root Fly.
